Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a dependable Maintenance worker to perform general upkeep across facilities on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, foyers, storage areas, and grounds; reporting repairs; and maintaining parking lots and walkways. Must be able to lift 50–60 lbs and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
Have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Able to lift 50–60 lbs.
Prior maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Attend in-service training sessions, meetings, and out of town activities as required.
Promote a positive work environment by treating staff and visitors with courtesy and respect.
Maintain restrooms, foyer and reception area, storage areas, and general facilities.
Report repairs and maintenance needs.
Sweep or hose down parking lots, sidewalks, and walkways; keep clear of snow and ice.
Mow and maintain grounds, shrubs, and mulched areas; water plants as needed.
Remove trash and debris from grounds and parking areas daily.
Replace light bulbs as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
