Job summary

Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors is seeking Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities in Delaware. You will handle home/building repairs, grounds care, and the upkeep of facilities, streets, and utilities while delivering excellent resident service.

Responsibilities include basic repairs, lawn care, snow removal where applicable, safety compliance, and collaboration with managers and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months maintenance experience in apartments or manufactured housing preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience preferred (plow truck operation where applicable).
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work; ability to endure outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains community grounds, facilities, streets and equipment.
• Cleans and maintains buildings and common areas to Sun curb appeal standards.
• Inspects and repairs irrigation, water meters, plumbing and electrical systems as needed.
• Assists with supervision of contractors and move-in/move-out spotting.
• Maintains community pools and vehicles; performs safety procedures.
