Job summary

Harbor House, Inc. in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Professional to assist with maintenance of interior and exterior of HHI properties, including grounds upkeep and coordination with facilities management.

The role requires ability to follow regulatory requirements for physical plant, strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. A valid driver's license is required; experience in building/grounds maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Experience in building and grounds maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for the physical plant.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Make daily checks of interiors and exteriors of properties and grounds.
• Report concerns to Facilities Manager or Director of Facility Management.
• Keep grounds well maintained and landscaped.
• Assist in repairs or work with contracted vendors.
• Install, maintain and repair basic HVAC systems and equipment as needed.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.
