Job summary

Waste Pro of Florida is seeking a general labor/maintenance team member at their Cape Coral facility. The role covers building and grounds upkeep, ensuring cleanliness, and safety compliance. You will inspect and repair areas, manage parking lot safety, and assist with yard work and painting as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to use hand and power tools. CDL is not required.

Responsibilities

• General building maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness of facility including restrooms, storage areas, garages, and grounds.
• Walk property to check for repairs.
• Remove environmental hazards.
• Parking lot maintenance - clean and maintain a safe parking lot and outlying property.
• Maintain ground foliage including grass, plants, and trees; mow grass, trim trees, weed flower beds, edges borders, and clean gutters as needed.
• Paint specified areas as determined.
• Assist with tipping floors safety protocol -- spotting all trailers while following safety procedures.
