Job summary

Wildhorsepass is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform general maintenance, landscaping, and support recycling programs across the Gila River Development portfolio. The role ensures a clean, safe, and efficient environment for employees, tenants, and visitors, with duties spanning building upkeep, groundskeeping, and basic repairs.

Responsibilities include lamp/AC filter replacement, roof inspections, irrigation maintenance, safe operation of tools and vehicles, after-hours support, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for client meetings and events.
• Valid AZ driver’s license, provide a 39-month satisfactory MVR report.
• Obtain a Tribal operator driving permit at the time of hire.
• A satisfactory result obtained through a test for illegal drugs.
• Acknowledge and agree to maintain a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Replace lamp bulbs, A/C filters, and perform light plumbing repairs.
• Roof inspections and minor repairs as needed.
• Pressure washing of sidewalks and exterior areas.
• Set up tables and chairs for departmental meetings and events.
• Landscaping: mowing, tree trimming, and general grounds maintenance.
• Inspect and repair irrigation systems and address water leaks.
• Provide backup janitorial services, including restroom cleaning.
• Operate hand and power tools and gas-powered equipment; drive vehicles safely.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with facilities staff to achieve project goals.
