Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor, even minor ones.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services when working in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, and facilities including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks.
• Replace burned-out light bulbs and clean windows and screens as directed.
• Service heating and cooling units as specified by manufacturers and policies.
• Follow safety precautions and protect resident information, reporting any unauthorized disclosures.
