Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required, plus two years in grounds/building maintenance.
Knowledge of irrigation systems, planting, and lawn care.
Familiarity with weed and pest control chemicals and safety.

Responsibilities

Layout, install, maintain and repair irrigation systems.
Prepare soil, plant trees, grass and shrubs; apply weed/pest control chemicals.
Operate equipment including mowers, sprayers, trucks and lifts.
Mix, pour, and finish concrete for walkways, planters and walls; repair asphalt.
Install, maintain and repair playground equipment and basic building systems.
Assist in setting up rooms for events and perform other duties as assigned.
