Job summary

Lakeshore Village Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated maintenance worker to keep the grounds, facility, and equipment in safe working order. You will follow schedules, perform routine upkeep, respond to issues, and collaborate with nursing staff to minimize disruptions for residents.

This role requires a minimum 10th grade education, basic math skills, and strong attention to safety. Training and supportive supervision are provided to ensure a reliable maintenance program.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to read and follow schedules.
• Basic math for measurements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, facility, and equipment in safe condition.
• Follow maintenance schedules for the assigned shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services during routine tasks in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical) as directed.
