Job summary

Qualifications

• Five year college program certificate or four years in a service position at an apartment community.
• EPA certification - Universal Level; HVAC certification required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and have mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Provides service to residents promptly and professionally.
• Establishes daily work schedules for maintenance staff.
• Follows up on work assignments for thorough completion.
• Establishes emergency maintenance on-call schedule and contacts numbers.
• Conducts regular inspections of the community.
• Notifies management of maintenance problems and recommended solutions.
• Prepares maintenance-related records and reports.
• Reports status of scheduled work to the Community Manager daily.
• Assists with move-in/move-out procedures.
• Maintains preventive maintenance information and inventory of parts/tools.
