The role includes routine repairs, event setup, lawn care, snow shoveling, and daily cleaning tasks. The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), 2 years janitorial experience, Delaware Defensive Driving Certification, ability to lift 50 pounds, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years janitorial experience required.
• Must maintain Delaware Defensive Driving Certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs at CHEER facilities.
• Set up and break down chairs and tables for events.
• Sweep walkways, mow lawn, and shovel snow as needed.
• Maintain grounds in clean and neat condition.
• Clean and disinfect kitchens and bathrooms; restock supplies.
• Collect debris and empty trash daily.
• Dust and polish furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Support team with other related duties as required.
