Job summary

HCF in Edinboro, PA is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant for dayshift to care for the community's physical plant, grounds, and equipment.

You will perform grounds maintenance (mowing, weeding, snow shoveling), complete light repairs, lift and move items, and keep facilities clean and safe for residents.

A high school diploma is preferred and a valid driver's license with no restrictions is required; in-service training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining grounds, mowing, weeding, and snow shoveling.
• Performs minor repairs and painting.
• Lifts and moves equipment and furniture.
• Performs heavy scrubbing, waxing and buffing.
• Cleans and maintains sprinklers, exhaust system and filters.
• Attends required in-service education.
