County of Delaware is seeking a reliable janitorial position to maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitary conditions across County facilities in Media and satellite locations. The role involves cleaning, minor repairs, trash removal, grounds work, and seasonal snow removal, with an 8-hour shift, primarily weekdays, but evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years previous janitorial experience.
• Experience with operating and maintaining commercial cleaning equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Performs daily cleaning, minor repairs, trash removal, and outside clean-up of County Facilities.
• Runs vacuum cleaners on carpet areas and cleans and mops all tile floor areas.
• Removes trash from all office areas to central trash locations.
• Cleans all rest rooms daily and follows safety protocols.
• Lightly dusts, cleans windows, cleans fluorescent lenses, and changes light bulbs.
• Cleans all air vents and unlocks/locks exterior doors.
• Operates yard sweeper to clean garage areas and outside alleyways.
• Performs grounds work and ice and snow removal as directed.
• Unloads supplies from trucks for storage and placement in buildings.
• Performs inventory of cleaning and lighting supplies.
• Cleans walls and specialty surfaces.
