Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of grounds and/or facility experience.
• Valid Virginia Driver’s License with clean driving record; successful background checks and in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities, grounds, and equipment.
• Repair or replace broken components; conduct cleaning and painting tasks as needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following OSHA standards.
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, drywall repairs; plumbing and electrical tasks as needed.
• Power wash buildings and maintain landscape; remove ice and snow from walkways and parking lots.
• On-call as directed by Facilities Manager.
• Assist with inventory and purchasing using VHBG credit card.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance and general repairs.
• Be a positive role model for the youth and staff.
