The role involves handling resident service requests, managing the make-ready process for vacant apartments, and coordinating with vendors. You will enforce safety policies, inspect work, and manage preventative maintenance while controlling costs and maintaining supplies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or related training.
• EPA refrigerant certification (Type I/II or Universal).
• CPO certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification or willingness to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and performs technical and mechanical work to maintain community standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.
• Responds to resident service requests, diagnosing defects and making repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant apartments, schedules vendors, and completes pre-move inspections.
• Develops standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors and common areas to reflect Vest standards.
• Inspects work by staff and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and orders supplies within budget; performs monthly preventive maintenance.
