Job summary

Gebhart Holdings is seeking a Facility / Grounds Assistant to support our Property Management Division. The role covers general building maintenance, light construction, lawn care, and snow removal across multiple properties.

You will work with the General Manager, perform essential tasks, follow 5S lean practices, and ensure timely, safe operations. A high school diploma is preferred but not required.

This is a full-time, hourly position requiring reliability and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

The Facility / Grounds Assistant position will be cross trained to support all Divisions and Properties with general building maintenance, light construction, lawn care and snow removal.

REPORTS TO

General Manager of Property Management Division

SUPERVISES

N/A

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide internal customer service to all properties
• Lawn care: mowing, trimming, weeding, blow off walks and parking lots
• Snow removal: shoveling, operate snow blower and/or plow truck, spread salt
• General building maintenance
• General building construction and painting
• Loading / unloading materials & furniture
• Additional projects assigned by management team
• Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position
• Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Experience with basic mechanical, construction and/or lawncare preferred but not required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
