Job summary

Gebhart is seeking a Facility / Grounds Assistant to support multiple divisions and properties with building maintenance, lawn care, and snow removal. The role requires a reliable, team-oriented individual able to perform light construction and painting tasks as needed.

The successful candidate will be cross-trained to assist across divisions, handle loading/unloading, and participate in lean 5S initiatives while maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Experience with basic mechanical, construction and/or lawncare preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal customer service to all properties
• Lawn care: mowing, trimming, weeding, blow off walks and parking lots
• Snow removal: shoveling, operate snow blower and/or plow truck, spread salt
• General building maintenance
• General building construction and painting
• Loading / unloading materials & furniture
• Additional projects assigned by management team
• Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position
• Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes
