Job summary

TLD is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Associate to support a 26-acre Windsor campus with six buildings. You’ll perform a variety of tasks from routine upkeep to unexpected repairs, using hand and power tools and operating forklifts or lifts after training.

Ideal candidates are dependable, practical problem solvers who can work independently or with a team, adapt to changing priorities, and stay focused on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience with general maintenance, facilities, property maintenance, or mechanical work is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical fixtures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and facility maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with plumbing, carpentry, plastering, basic electrical, mechanical, and other general maintenance projects.
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Maintain grounds, parking areas, driveways, and other areas of the property.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine practical solutions when plans aren’t available.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment after training/authorization.
• Support larger facility projects and warehouse reorganizations.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
