Cobb and Douglas Public Health is seeking a General Trades Tech 2 to perform light repairs, painting, and general upkeep of Cobb and Douglas County facilities in Marietta, GA. The role supports health-related supply deliveries and coordinates facility system repairs with Property Maintenance.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with maintenance experience, or one year at General Trades Tech 1, with possible area certifications. Hybrid telework options available.

• May require area-specific certifications/licenses as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and prepares meeting spaces for events.
• Maintains grounds, parking, and storage areas.
• Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies.
• Performs daily maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assumes emergency preparedness responsibilities.
