Job summary

ABM Industries seeks a Building Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors. You will support the Facilities Team with front-desk operations, daily building rounds, event coordination, and ticketing system management to keep the site safe, functional, and welcoming.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in reception, Google Suite, CMMS, and events preferred.
• Ability to multitask and deliver excellent customer service in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Support: Warm, professional front-desk presence and access assistance.
• Conference room rounds: Check lighting, equipment, and supplies.
• Tech Support: File tickets for malfunctioning meeting equipment.
• Signage: Update and replace building signage as needed.
• Tours: Support client/site tours for visitors as needed.
• Supplies inventory: Monitor and replenish office supplies for the site.
• Event support: Assist with decor, food/beverage setup, and last-minute changes.
• Emergency Response: Be on call for urgent maintenance issues.
