Job summary

Sysco Jackson, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the facility and transportation fleet maintenance. The role focuses on controlling costs while delivering reliable equipment performance and ensuring employee safety.

You will lead the maintenance team, coordinate with logistics managers, and manage the budget for maintenance, parts, and renovations. This role requires a strong background in warehouse equipment and refrigeration maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Understanding license and permit requirements and fleet tax matters.
• Working knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Oversee building maintenance operations.
• Coordinate warranty and lease issues with distributors and manufacturers.
• Direct building maintenance projects, upgrades, and repairs.
• Manage day-to-day performance of third-party maintenance providers for transport, warehouse equipment, and buildings.
• Collaborate with Transportation and Warehouse Managers to meet department needs.
• Own P&L for maintenance, parts purchases, and renovations as applicable.
• Lead maintenance department staff, including hiring, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for the distribution center.
