Job summary

Dean Dorton is seeking a Workplace Services Supervisor in Lexington to coordinate facility experience, manage event logistics, and deliver high-quality support to internal teams and external partners.

You will lead day-to-day operations, oversee work orders, manage access and safety procedures, and partner with teams across markets. This role requires detail orientation, strong communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, management, public relations, marketing or related field preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in workplace operations, facilities management, event planning, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations ensuring offices are clean, safe, and functional to support a positive employee experience.
• Manage facility work orders from intake through completion, track service levels, and handle escalations.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding logistics, including workstation setup, parking, and building access.
• Oversee access control system updates for new hires and departures; maintain accurate records.
• Supervise facility projects such as moves, reconfigurations, and minor renovations.
• Oversee workplace systems (e.g., Agilquest, Asana) for accuracy and daily updates.
• Track office supplies, furniture, and equipment; assist with ordering.
• Lead event intake and planning workflow; manage budgets, schedules, and contracts.
• Provide regular reporting on upcoming events and scheduling trends.
• Research, negotiate, and manage contracts with venues, caterers, and service providers.
