Job summary

Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities team. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements on mechanical and electrical systems, building controls, and utility operations to ensure reliable operations.

You will participate in Honda's maintenance training program and apply new technologies to drive efficiency, safety, and quality, while supporting production and customers.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2-year technical degree or equivalent equipment service experience
• 3 years of experience in a Facilities environment (industrial or heavy commercial) preferred, or well-qualified entry level
• Proficiency with electrical equipment knowledge and Building Management Systems

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, building controls)
• Evaluate equipment improvements to enhance availability and reliability
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and analyze root causes
• Support a reliability-centred maintenance program and drive continuous improvement
