Job summary

FUJIFILM Dimatix Inc. seeks an Facilities Equipment Engineer to ensure reliable operation of manufacturing facility systems, including HVAC, cleanroom environments, and utility networks.

You will lead a team of 4–10 technicians, perform preventive maintenance, and quickly diagnose complex issues to keep production uptime. The role demands hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical, and control disciplines, with strong collaboration across manufacturing and facilities leadership.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years hands-on troubleshooting in facilities maintenance or similar.
• Experience supervising technicians (formal or informal).
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and piping schematics.
• Strong communication with technicians, engineers, managers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and perform PMs across facility systems using CMMS.
• Supervise 4–10 senior technicians, assign work, coach growth.
• Maintain 24/7 operational readiness of HVAC, water, gases, electrical, piping.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control failures impacting manufacturing.
• Oversee service providers for repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure facility systems meet regulatory and life-safety requirements.
• Maintain PM records, work orders, logs, and equipment histories.
• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical rooms, cleanrooms, and utility spaces.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical equipment failures.
