Good Samaritan Society – Albert Lea is seeking a leader to supervise ancillary service areas within a long-term skilled care facility. You will oversee safety, environmental services, laundry, maintenance, infection control, and emergency preparedness, while collaborating with health system departments and families to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school preferred.
• Two years’ experience in related ancillary work preferred.
• Previous leadership/management experience helpful.
• Maintains any certifications and licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall supervision of assigned ancillary service areas (safety, environmental services, laundry, maintenance, infection control, emergency preparedness).
• Provide leadership and interact with health system departments, medical staff, patients/residents and families.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate programs in line with federal, state and local standards.
• Develop staff education and write safety/security SOPs to meet regulatory guidelines.
• Chair departmental/organization committees and drive staff performance feedback.
• Ensure areas meet regulatory requirements and remain current with safety codes.
