Job summary

FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc. in Mesa, AZ seeks a Facilities Engineering Manager to lead maintenance, capital projects, and the engineering team ensuring safe, compliant operations.

You will manage budgets, supervise engineers and technicians, drive continuous improvement, coordinate multi-discipline contractors, and ensure 24/7 reliability of critical facility systems such as UPW, HVAC, electrical, and utility infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of chemical manufacturing plant experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience including supervising and mentoring others.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office; SAP preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally at all levels; post-offer drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of critical facility and utility systems to ensure safe, continuous operations.
• Plan and execute capital projects, facility improvements, and new equipment installations within budget and schedule.
• Hire, train, and manage engineers, technicians and maintenance staff; mentor and evaluate performance; coordinate with contract staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety codes, and environmental regulations.
• Manage maintenance budgets and develop long-term facility strategies; implement policies for the engineering department.
• Coordinate projects and direct detailed plans; manage capital approval processes and monitor schedules and costs.
• Provide monthly departmental metrics and drive continuous improvement in processes, quality, and cost.
• Oversee capital spending for Formulated Products, TFS and CMP areas; participate in Change Control and Material Review Boards.
