Job summary

FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Controls Engineering Manager to lead a 24/7 manufacturing automation team, directing PLC/SCADA programming, historian systems, and control reliability across facilities.

You will drive continuous improvement, support capital projects, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires a top-tier automation leader with deep knowledge of industrial controls, Fieldbus, and cybersecurity, plus 5+ years of supervisory experience

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering.
10+ years in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong project management and capital project execution.
Experience with complex instrumentation and controls systems.
Knowledge of Fieldbus protocol systems.
Experience with SCADA design and deployment.
On-call support required.

Responsibilities

Lead the Controls Engineering team supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
Oversee automation standards, PLC/SCADA programming, historian systems, and instrumentation.
Administer the PI Historian system.
Provide troubleshooting for ongoing operations and outages.
Drive data-driven methods to improve process reliability.
Ensure changes follow site MOC procedures.
Coordinate with vendors for equipment utilization and documentation.
Lead capital projects and manage budgets.
