Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Facilities Engineering Manager to lead facilities projects from concept to completion. You will translate operational needs into technical scopes, develop plans, schedules and cost estimates, and coordinate with electricians, vendors, and contractors.

Ensure safety compliance and effective facility operations. The role requires strong project management, reading equipment specifications, and working knowledge of NEC requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, construction management, facilities management, or related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or technically complex facilities.
• Ability to independently manage facility projects from requirement development through completion.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and NEC requirements for industrial facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment specifications, drawings, and contractor documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of responsibility for facilities projects from requirement through completion.
• Translate needs into defined scopes of work and technical requirements.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and cost estimates with contractor requirements.
• Coordinate stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Monitor execution and verify completed work meets requirements.
• Manage multiple facilities projects and maintenance tasks.
