Job summary

L3Harris Clifton site seeks Sr Specialist, Facilities Engineering to lead facility life-cycle, infrastructure, and capital improvement projects, coordinating with EH&S, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and Engineering. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and compliant with regulations.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 6+ years; or Graduate degree with 4+ years, or 10 years of related experience in lieu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility capital improvement, infrastructure, renovation, equipment installation, and life-cycle replacement projects from concept through completion.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, specifications, AutoCAD layouts, and project documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with EH&S, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and Engineering to successfully execute projects.
• Manage construction activities, contractor performance, work authorizations, change orders, invoices, and project closeout.
• Establish project priorities, milestones, resource plans, and budgets while tracking schedule and financial performance.
