Job summary

Flow in Miami is seeking a Facilities Technician Lead to perform complex preventive maintenance on buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. Under Facilities Manager, you will monitor building systems, ensure regulatory compliance and a safe work environment.

You will also apply multi-trade skills including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in related field, 5+ years of experience, CMMS experience, and fluency in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years operating and maintaining building equipment.
• Experience with building systems like mechanical, fire and electrical systems.
• Experience using CMMS or work order management systems.
• Proficiency with Google Chrome and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operation meets design specs.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and proactively reorder materials as needed.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs and manage schedules.
• Identify deficiencies and report recommendations to Facilities Manager.
• Coordinate and supervise repairs and overseeing external contractors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Document maintenance activities and keep accurate records.
• Assign work orders to technicians and provide training as needed.
• Support budget adherence and project deadlines.
