Job summary

CTG is seeking a Facilities Engineer V for a W2 contract in Hickory, NC. The role leads facilities engineering projects, upgrades and building improvements, coordinating internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to drive projects from planning through completion.

Requirements include 10+ years of facilities PM experience, strong mechanical engineering knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Travel is expected at less than 5% and on-site work is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage facilities engineering and building improvement projects.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, procurement strategies, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate contractors and vendors for HVAC, chillers, roofing, plumbing, roll-up doors, cleaning, exhaust systems, lawn care, and snow removal.
  • Develop and maintain BAS and facilities control/monitoring systems.
  • Support chilled water, water filtration, compressed air, and other facility systems.
  • Prepare project funding/appropriation requests and provide project updates.
  • Support safety and environmental programs and ensure regulatory compliance.

Job description

CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Facilities Engineer V, to lead facilities engineering projects, equipment upgrades/replacements, building improvements, and facility control systems. This role will manage projects from planning through completion and coordinate internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred

Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Hickory, NC

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage facilities engineering and building improvement projects.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, procurement strategies, and acceptance criteria.

  • Travel: Less than 5%.
