Eaton Group is seeking a Facilities Engineer for its Horseheads, NY manufacturing facility. The role offers an annual salary range of $86,000 to $126,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

The position includes leadership of maintenance, reliability, and long-term facility planning to support safe, compliant, and cost-efficient plant operations. The engineer will manage facility projects, coordinate contractors, ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, ISO), and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience supporting industrial facilities, including electrical/mechanical systems, utilities, equipment, and building or plant maintenance.
• Experience supporting facility projects and regulatory compliance, including OSHA requirements, budget management, and standard Microsoft Office applications.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position; no relocation benefit; 50-mile radius requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical leadership for maintenance, reliability, improvement, and long-term planning of plant facilities.
• Coordinate facility projects, contractors, and outdoor/indoor infrastructure upgrades while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules, and plans; monitor safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance.
• Support energy audits and energy-efficiency projects; analyze capacity and utility requirements.
• Assist with plant safety programs, emergency preparedness, and disaster recovery planning.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase facility reliability, energy efficiency, and operating cost performance.
