The Impact You’ll Make

You will be responsible for the overall site facility mechanical infrastructure, making decisions that impact it. Your role includes planning facilities changes for plants, labs, offices, and production equipment layouts to optimize operations, maximize facility and equipment use, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. You will coordinate with architecture/engineering firms, develop design criteria, prepare layout and detail drawings, and manage bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Additionally, you will review and estimate design costs, inspect construction progress, and develop criteria to meet operating requirements and safety codes.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the site facility mechanical infrastructure and be accountable for the outcomes of related decisions.
• Core responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • HVAC systems (cleanroom, office, process/scrubbed exhaust, boilers, chillers)
  • Process water distribution and supply quality
  • Clean dry air infrastructure
  • Natural gas infrastructure
  • Process/Tool vacuum systems
• Manage cleanroom particle quality documentation and coordinate resources to maintain specifications.
• Track, monitor, and report capacity across all core areas from main distribution to point of connection (POC).
• Approve utility POC modifications and ensure contractor installations align with documentation.
• Identify infrastructure improvements to reduce operating costs and enhance mechanical integrity for increased uptime.
• Manage and report on budgets related to mechanical contractors.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of industrial design experience (PE license a plus).
• Advanced troubleshooting skills supporting core responsibilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for effective internal interaction.
• Willingness to work off-hours or weekends as needed to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
