Job summary

Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio is seeking a maintenance engineer to uphold all building systems and the building envelope to ensure the safety and comfort of guests and associates. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and carry out minor repairs across hotel equipment.

The role also involves maintaining exterior areas and keeping logs of service requests.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry knowledge is required.
• Experience with building systems maintenance preferred.
• Ability to interpret schematics and operate standard trade tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building systems to ensure guest safety and comfort.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fixtures.
• Inspect and repair equipment such as boilers, pumps, motors, and controls.
• Respond to guest and colleague maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain building exterior, signage and common areas in good condition.
• Document work orders and maintain records of service activities.
