Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to service and repair building systems at the Westin Dallas Stonebriar in Frisco, TX. You will support preventative maintenance, respond to work orders, and keep guest areas safe and well-maintained.

You should have vocational training or certification in building trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry) with strong communication skills. Hotel experience is preferred, and a focus on energy efficiency and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling, military training, certification and/or experience in building related trades.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Climbing, standing, walking and lifting 25–50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Ability to receive instructions and communicate progress of work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders on hotel facilities.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on electrical, HVAC, plumbing and related systems.
• Inspect and repair hotel equipment including boilers, pool gear and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain building exterior and curb appeal, including painting and gardening as needed.
• Refurbish and move furniture and fixtures in guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests.
• Operate under safety protocols and comply with attendance rules.
• Assist on major repairs and use hand and power tools as required.
