Job summary

The Quin House in Boston is seeking a driven Facility Engineer to join our start-up hospitality venture. You will oversee maintenance and coordinated vendor activities across properties, ensuring all systems stay up to code and well‑maintained in a fast-paced environment.

You must have hands-on experience with preventive maintenance, electro‑mechanical controls, and a strong eye for quality. This role requires flexibility to respond to service calls and to supervise contractors while delivering

Qualifications

• 2+ years operational experience required.
• Prior engineering experience in hotel or restaurant highly preferred.
• Results-driven professional who executes with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and vendor activities for the properties.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and electro-mechanical control systems.
• Manage work order system: add notes, open/close/create work orders.
• Supervise vendors and interact with tenants and staff.
• Respond to building emergencies and be on-call as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and building standards.
