Job summary

AFE seeks a Facilities Engineer to lead safe, efficient operation of critical facility infrastructure in Florida. You will coordinate design initiatives, oversee preventive maintenance, manage energy and power distribution, emergency generators, HVAC and controls, roofing, and elevator inspections, while maintaining facility plans and records and driving special projects.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of building maintenance crafts with emphasis on HVAC and Controls.
• Budget management experience and ability to use MS Office and CMMS tools.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and required precautions.

Responsibilities

• Power management and energy flow optimization for facilities.
• Coordinate design, commissioning and maintenance of generators, HVAC, roofs and elevators.
• Maintain facility plans, records, and certifications; support special projects.
• On-site reviews and vendor management for contracted work.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance requests and budgeting forecasting.
