Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a Facilities Engineer to support critical infrastructure, systems and processes enabling R&D and office operations. This on-site role focuses on reliability, compliance and sustainability, working with cross-functional teams to improve design, maintenance and operation of facilities.

Boston Scientific will not sponsor visas for this position. You will coordinate maintenance, troubleshoot BAS and utilities, and drive efficiency initiatives across campus, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 2 years’ experience in utility systems or manufacturing.
• Experience with HVAC, chilled water, boilers or related building systems.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation and change control in regulated environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing and supporting facilities infrastructure and capital projects to improve system reliability and campus performance.
• Serving as the MEP engineering representative on large capital projects and coordinating with teams.
• Planning and supporting maintenance activities for building infrastructure systems.
• Troubleshooting BAS, electrical, plumbing and mechanical issues affecting operations.
• Identifying energy efficiency opportunities and infrastructure upgrades.
• Coordinating with contractors and cross-functional teams to execute facilities work safely.
