Job summary

The Standard seeks a Building Engineer II to maintain safety, comfort, and reliability of our commercial properties. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections across building systems, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and BAS, and work with vendors to ensure efficient operations for tenants.

You will participate in an on-call rotation and respond to service requests, with a focus on safety, reliability, and high-quality tenant experiences across multiple sites in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years in building engineering or similar facilities role.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and BAS/BMS.
• Familiarity with CMMS and building operations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and BAS systems.
• Respond to tenant service requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor and operate HVAC and lighting controls.
• Support facilities projects by coordinating with vendors and overseeing work.
• Conduct building inspections and assist with vendor/regulatory walk-throughs.
