Job summary

The Milwaukee Bucks are seeking a Full-Time Technical Facilities Technician in Milwaukee, WI. You will support the daily operations of the facilities and engineering department for the Deer District, ensuring safe and efficient maintenance and repairs of equipment used regularly.

Responsibilities include overseeing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and Fire/Life Safety systems, performing preventive maintenance, and generating maintenance plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• 5–10 years of direct commercial building experience.
• Solid understanding of Federal, State and Local building codes.
• Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys BAS.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• OSHA 30 safety knowledge; certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs; physical readiness expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and timely customer service to clients and team members.
• Oversee facility systems including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire/Life Safety.
• Maintain and repair HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing equipment, and BAS.
• Develop short- and long-term Preventive Maintenance plans for the District.
• Inspect systems to identify hazards and ensure code compliance.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals for maintenance tasks.
• Manage facility work orders; CMMS is Altum (Asset Essentials).
• Support building systems management for all MEP systems in the District.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors; maintain relationships.
