Job summary

Polytainers Inc. is seeking a Facilities Engineer to lead reliability and optimization of building services, plant utilities, and facility infrastructure across operations. You will evaluate existing systems, develop technical solutions, and drive capital projects from concept to commissioning and close-out.

The role collaborates with Plant Maintenance, Engineering, EHS, operations, and external contractors to deliver robust, energy-efficient infrastructure and improved process reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in building services engineering and industrial utilities.
  • Hands-on technical experience evaluating and troubleshooting building utility systems.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills and ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate performance, condition, capacity, and reliability of plant utility systems.
  • Develop engineering solutions for capacity, reliability, energy use, obsolescence and infrastructure.
  • Review systems, modify, upgrade, or expand as needed; support documentation.
  • Coordinate projects from concept through commissioning and close-out.
  • Support BAS monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization; ensure documentation is current.
