Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Utility Building Engineer to maintain the appearance and performance of building systems across office, retail and common areas, ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness.

You will assist with tenant requests, complete work orders, perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and replacements of lighting, plumbing and fixtures, and you must be available for extended hours and 24x7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Two years hands-on maintenance experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using service ticket and inventory systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with tenant repair requests across electrical, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.
• Complete and review work orders; coordinate with Chief Engineer.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and inspections of building systems.
• Inspect interior and exterior areas; report deficiencies and replace fixtures as needed.
• Maintain inventory and prepare materials for routine maintenance.
• Respond to tenant concerns promptly and document interactions.
