Job summary

CBRE Building Engineer in Bethlehem, PA will monitor, maintain and repair building system operations across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related infrastructure. You will support preventive maintenance and respond to equipment issues to ensure safe, reliable facility performance.

This role requires a High School Diploma or trade schooling with 4–5 years of experience; Universal CFC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.
• EPA Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
• Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program to optimize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for hazardous materials handling and maintain a safe workplace.
• Review inspections of building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for design and environmental compliance.
• Apply standard procedures to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example and uphold CBRE RISE values.
