Qualifications

• High School education or GED is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Must have or obtain a Low-Pressure Boiler Operating License if position requires boiler use.
• Background check, physical capacity assessment, and drug screen required before start.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Working knowledge of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical equipment within the designated building.
• Snow removal during the winter months.
• Open the building in the mornings and secure it at the end of the day.
• Custodial cleaning including dust mopping, wet mopping, and restroom/classroom cleaning.
• Order custodial supplies for the building.
• Inspect the building and grounds and write maintenance requests.
• Maintain appropriate grooming and appearance as defined by district handbook.
• Available for after-hour calls.
• Perform engineering tasks such as filter changes and roof drain clearing.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Maintenance & Operations.
