RXR, headquartered in New York, seeks an Engineer to assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing union tradesmen responsible for maintaining all mechanical systems across the facility. You will coordinate, interpret, maintain, and repair equipment such as switchgear, panel boards, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and life safety to keep operations safe and economical.
You will work with the Chief Engineer, respond to emergencies, monitor equipment 24/7, perform preventive maintenance, manage tenant work
Qualifications
- Experience with project management and scheduling.
- Knowledge of Building Management & Control Systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with energy conservation and system optimization.
Responsabilités
- Oversee maintenance of mechanical systems and coordinate with union tradesmen.
- Perform MEP repairs, preventive maintenance, and tenant work order closeouts.
- Respond to emergencies and monitor equipment continuously.
- Maintain base building equipment and monitor HVAC, water systems, and lighting.
- Ensure compliance with codes, safety rules, and building regulations.
