Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Maintenance Technician IV to help maintain building systems and guest comfort. You will respond to repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and communicate with guests to resolve issues.

The role requires physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs, ability to work flexible shifts, holidays, and weekends, and adherence to safety procedures. MVW offers competitive benefits and on-site perks.

Responsibilities

• Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
• Performs preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Communicates with guests/Owners to resolve maintenance issues.
• Displays advanced engineering operations skills, mechanical ability, and troubleshooting of building systems.
• Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
• Reads, logs, tracks, and interprets readings from meters, gauges, and other measuring devices.
• Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable.

As a Maintenance Technician IV, a typical day will include:

To Become a Maintenance Technician IV at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time .
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50 lbs without assistance .
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
