Job Summary

Develops, manages, and executes project plans for construction projects for new facilities and expansions to existing facilities to meet safety, regulatory, customer, and internal requirements within schedule and cost parameters. Serves as the main interface with regulatory agencies, government boards, and subcontractors, providing on-site leadership and guidance. Drives the team to meet construction schedules and monitor progress. Provides executive summaries on project status to internal and external customers. Leads, manages, and directs the development and enablement of all internal and customer requirements to successfully launch and execute projects through the launch of a new facility or expansion of existing facilities.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develops and manages project plans, milestones, and deliverables, including scope requirements, cost/budget adherence, schedule management, risk evaluation and mitigation, and quality management, ensuring customer and business requirements are fulfilled.
  2. Ensures strict adherence to schedules, budgets, quality, and safety standards associated with assigned projects.
  3. Provides project updates to teams, business customers, and management, facilitating effective planning and oversight, and establishing strong relationships with operational leaders and decision-makers.
  4. Monitors construction activities regularly, holds status meetings with subcontractors and other teams, and conducts periodic inspections of construction sites. Assists with customer security approval processes related to project construction and facilities.
  5. Schedules and directs project meetings and teleconferences to monitor progress, ensure compliance, and promote safety procedures.
  6. Prepares and presents progress reports on project costs and schedules at required intervals.
  7. Builds strong relationships with subcontractors and third parties to support project goals, and communicates effectively to resolve issues.
  8. Demonstrates problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  9. Develops solutions to critical business issues and presents alternatives.
  10. Communicates issues effectively and recommends strategies and tactics.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing machine development, including troubleshooting, programming, and system design.
  • US Person per ITAR regulations, able to comply with export requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NPI, start-up facilities, or work transfer in aerospace manufacturing engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a commitment to customer service, supervision, estimating, safety, and quality.
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred; experience in construction supervision/management in manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of commercial construction methods, office, and industrial manufacturing projects, including large relocations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong analytical skills for project assessment and problem-solving.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for remote and on-site communication.
  • Experience with transformational manufacturing projects or complex launches.
Compensation Data

Salary Range: $84,048.00 - $105,059.00
