Job summary

The Milwaukee Bucks, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a skilled Facilities Electrical Technician to support the Deer District daily operations. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, electrical repairs, and ensuring reliable building systems.

Responsibilities include servicing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Life-Safety systems, reading blueprints, and documenting work orders. A WI electrician license and strong safety knowledge are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • WI Electrician license required.
  • 3-5 years direct commercial building experience.
  • Understanding of federal, state and local building codes.
  • Experience with CMMS (Altum).
  • OSHA 30 safety knowledge for HVAC/General Industry.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Flexibility for evenings/weekends when necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physically capable for regular movement and lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective and timely customer service to clients and team members.
  • Perform journey level electrical work and diagnose problems in electrical systems.
  • Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment.
  • Prepare and deliver job service reports, deficiency reports and proper completed work orders.
  • Oversee facility systems including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire/Life Safety.
  • Maintain and repair HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, and Plumbing equipment and building automation systems.
  • Read and interpret manuals to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance records and repair records.
  • Respond to emergencies per departmental policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors as appropriate.
