Job summary

Ny Creates seeks a Facilities Electrical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution, fire alarm, security, HVAC controls, and facility infrastructure supporting cleanroom and office operations.

You will drive reliability through preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and emergency response while working with automation, process, water treatment, and waste treatment systems.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years in an apprenticeship as an Electrician and 5+ years as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and CMMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical distribution systems, equipment, and controls.
• Maintain and support medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, transformers, circuit breakers, and related infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues using standard testing equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards including OSHA and NFPA 70E; perform Lockout/Tagout.
