Job summary

Norwich Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Electrical and Controls Maintenance Technician to maintain electrical distribution, building automation, and site utility systems in a manufacturing setting. You will support mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and utility systems while ensuring safe, compliant operations through preventative maintenance and emergency response.

The role reports to the Facilities Department Manager and requires basic electrical theory knowledge, NEC familiarity, and NFPA 70E safety

Qualifications

• Understand basic electrical theory; written exam during interview.
• Familiarity with NEC access and navigation.
• Basic electrical safety training per NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Execute PMs and work orders with required documentation.
• Shutdown/startup/reset site electrical systems up to 120V single phase.
• Assist electricians with restoration after power interruptions.
• Read and interpret basic site electrical diagrams and equipment specs.
• Layout/install EMT conduit up to 3/4" for small projects.
• Operate site vehicles and equipment as trained.
• Navigate building management systems (BMS).
