Job summary

Indotronix is seeking a Facilities Electrical Systems Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across manufacturing, labs, and utilities in Meriden, CT. You will support HVAC, cleanroom, and facility equipment while executing preventive maintenance to improve reliability and uptime.

The role requires a CT E-1 Journeyperson license, 3–5 years in regulated industrial environments, and strong NEC/NFPA 70E knowledge.

Qualifications

• CT E-1 Journeyperson license required.
• 3–5 years in regulated industrial environments (manufacturing, pharma, biotech, medical device).
• Strong NEC/NFPA 70E knowledge and electrical safety practices.
• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial electrical systems up to 480V.
• Fluency in reading schematics, blueprints, and manuals for PM/CM execution.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and controls powering manufacturing, labs, warehouses, and utilities.
• Support production assets, HVAC, cleanroom infrastructure, and facility support equipment.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to boost reliability and uptime.
• Troubleshoot motors, VFDs, MCCs, transformers, distribution panels, lighting networks, and 480V power.
• Interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals with precision.
• Partner with automation/instrumentation teams to resolve integrated control and electrical issues.
• Inspect and test systems for compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E and regulatory requirements.
• Document all work thoroughly in the CMMS; support RCA and CAPA activities.
• Contribute to energy-efficiency and continuous improvement projects.
• Work within EHS, GMP, and quality system frameworks daily.
